Human Periodic Table
Our 2nd year students were very busy this week (March 2013) learning about the periodic table. In a very fun lesson Ms. Scallan and Mr. Kehoe helped the boys create their own “human periodic table” Can you guess which element the boys are re-creating in the photos below?
Ecology Trip to the Zoo.
All our 2nd year scientists enjoyed a very enjoyable (but very cold) day in Dublin Zoo recently. It was a very worthwhile trip with the boys learning alot about ecology.
Science Week 2012
A very successful science week has sadly just come to an end. A great week was had by all, including trips to a science fair in Waterford, science quizzes & experiments galore.

Scifest Time again (2012)
The annual Scifest competition will take place in WIT on 25th April. We had a fantastic result last year with a group of first year students wining two major awards with a project on Renewable energy.
There are many different categories and levels so there will be one to suit your interests.
Application forms are due at the beginning of March so if you have a good idea and want to enter it’s time to get started.
There is a Scifest meeting for all those who are interested every Monday at 12:45 in the Physics Lab.
